Famed for its 80 different rums, DJ sets and authentic Caribbean dishes, the colourful pad has relocated to the Brighton seafront, so now everyone can soak up summer vibes while enjoying some rum and reggae; what could be better? Culinary choices include delicious jerk chicken, goat curry, ackee and saltfish and Caribbean burgers that’ll knock your socks off.

Wander down the seemingly endless Portland Road in Hove to experience this gem near Aldrington Station. Like any good Caribbean hub, the atmosphere at Jukes is relaxed and its soul food packs a punch. ‘In the know’ punters enjoy Jukes’ alternative Sunday buffet lunches, and look forward to regular live music sessions with a slice of homemade rum cake in one hand and a sweet liquor in the other. If only every lazy summer evening could be this good.
