Lunch in London can be a chore. You can quite easily eat through your lunch break by queuing for a meal deal or spend a small fortune on a bowl of gruel. Number 3 in our alternative London guide is, however, one of the best choices you’ll ever make at lunch. Introducing Delancey & Co.
“So what is Delancey & Co. and why should I make it my new go-to lunch spot?” we hear you holla. Well, we’ll tell you why. This place is a pinch of the American dream in Fitzrovia. Inspired by the great delis of New York, Delancey & Co. make the best sandwiches this side of Brooklyn. With hearty fillings including salt beef, smoked salmon or turkey, to mighty combinations like their legendary Reuben (salt beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese), you can really spoil yourself with great food. Knock ’em back with a cup of Joe or an American craft beer. Honestly, it would be sheer De-lunacy to miss out stopping by Delancey & Co.
Wriggle Recommends: It has to be the BeastMode Reuben: Salt beef, smoked turkey, sauerkraut /‘slaw, swiss cheese, Delancey&Co special sauce on a marbled rye bread. Boom.
