We’ve received our first Wriggler review! Wriggle newbie, Matt Bennett, popped on over to Kings of Ping in Easton and sent us this lovely write-up:
On the spur of the moment, I thought I’d check Wriggle, having never previously managed to match up my free time with the windows of opportunity provided by this intriguing Bristol-centric app. I had a chunk of time to use, an old friend I hadn’t seen for a couple of years to catch up with and the stipulation that anything we chose needed to be within walking distance of central/east Bristol.
I had stumbled across a Kings of Ping event before and had had a good time with this diverse and warm-but-wacky bunch. As soon as I saw the offer I thought, “Why not?” and booked the tickets. Simple and quick!
When we arrived we hadn’t realised it was African themed, but we were encouraged in and enjoyed a relaxed and incredibly jovial table tennis tournament, featuring prizes for the best dancer and a massive game of Round the Table!
I wouldn’t have known the event was going on without Wriggle. I possibly would have simply found the nearest watering hole and left it at that. Instead, we had a good catchup, made some new friends and enjoyed an alternative evening pinging pong balls around to Afrobeats.
Sounds like a good evening, right? We love hearing from Wrigglers, so we ask you – where’s Wriggle taken you? Get your Wriggle on & share your experiences with us over at our Facebook and Twitter pages!
